Shaping/Bending/Zone Heating The Gyrotron Beam can be focused to selectively and rapidly “overheat” required areas– at dozens of square feet per second.
Advantages: High quality output; achieve complex geometries; no-gap doublet bending, ability to shape Low-E coated glass, lower production costs with shorter lehrs (energy, labor, tooling, and maintenance savings), frit/ceramic inks applied to second or third surface can be fired without marks or distortion. Can be retrofit into old bending lehrs.
