Vlad Sklyar, Ph.D. is President of GTI. He is the principal inventor/developer of the gyrotron beam technologies, and the innovative GLS autoclave-free glass lamination system.  In his career, spanning over thirty years,  he has held a pivotal role in the creation and commercialization of numerous cutting-edge industrial technologies.  Prior to founding the Company in 1998, he held a senior position at leading scientific institute in the former USSR, was a consultant  working at Los Alamos National Lab with the Department of Energy, and at the Naval Research Lab in Washington . He was awarded the prestigious State Prize, one of the highest awards for scientific achievements and their commercialization in the former Soviet Union.  A true renaissance man with accomplishments in politics, business and science, Dr. Sklyar is also a member of the Company’s Board of Directors.

Michael Shevelev, Ph.D. is the Company’s Technology Director.  He is a technical projects manager with twenty years’ experience in the gyrotron application, new process development, industrial commercialization and technical team leadership.  He leads company research activities and the design of industrial gyrotron installations and glass laminating equipment.
